Locally born and raised in Chehalis, Cynthia attended South Puget Sound Community College and completed physician assistant school at Cleveland Ohio Community College for Family Medicine in June 2001.
Cynthia practiced at Shelton Internal Medicine for 5 years, followed by Urgent Care, Olympia Medical Center for 15 years before her return to Chehalis in August 2020, where she has been practicing at Steck Medical in family practice.
Cynthia lives in Olympia with her husband of 39 years and her beloved cat, Joey. She and her husband have two grown boys. In her spare time, Cynthia enjoys an array of domestic arts, including crafts, quilting, and basket weaving. She also loves to share her extensive knowledge of gardening and canning. On social media, you’ll often find new recipes she’s tried.
